Members of CCCREA are entitled to a variety of benefits. Below are just some of the “perks” you will be enjoying as a member of the Contra Costa County Retired Employees Association.
Representation
CCCREA representatives attend the Retirement Board meetings to protect your interests. We also have a representative on the Contra Costa County Health Coalition to help monitor and maintain you health benefits.
Paid Staff

Affiliations with Other Retiree Organizations
The Contra Costa County Retired Employees Association is an active member of the statewide California Retired County Employees Association. CCCREA monitors and sponsors legislation pertaining to retirees. CCCREA has been able to get several bills passed that have enhanced your benefits.
Monthly Business Meetings
The Contra Costa County Retired Employees Association meets regularly at Noon on the 2nd Thursday of the month at the Local One Union Hall, 5034 Blum Road in Martinez. You can call the Local One office at (925) 228-1600 to verify meeting dates.
Quarterly Luncheons & Such
Our luncheons are held in Spring (March), Summer (June), Fall (September) and Winter (December).
Members pay half of the cost, while guests are welcome to attend at the regular price. To show our appreciation for joining our Association, the cost of your first luncheon is free!
Staying In Touch
You will receive notification of monthly meetings and upcoming events via our bi-monthly newsletter. The Newsletter will keep you informed of any actions taken at the CCC Board of Supervisors or the County Retirement Board which might affect you or your benefits.
